A delicious Iconic lees aged white wine from the Cru vineyards of legendary Italian wine maker Roberto Anselmi, which will age and evolve beautifully in the bottle for 15 years. This is the white in his range aimed at Chardonnay lovers as the blend is 90% Garganega grape with 10% Chardonnay.
Anselmi wines appear on the lists of most Michelin Star restaurants in Italy! Cantina Anselmi is located in the Veneto region of Northern Italy.
Intense floral peach with jasmin and a touch of lychee. Medium to full bodied, very smooth and very round with soft acidity and notes of apple honey blossom and a nuttiness on the palate. A very impressive, succulent long flavoursome finish. The intensity, depth and length are all remarkable.
Medium dry at only 8.5 gms RS per litre.
Grown on the top south facing slopes in the hills of Monteforte, Verona (Soave) but incomprable with Soave wines. If you like Cloudy Bay and other high quality New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wines, you will love this wine even more!

Vinification: DE-STEMMING, COLD MACERATION OF THE MUST WITH THE GRAPES, SOFT PNEUMATIC PRESSING, SETTLING OF THE MUST, FERMENTATION AT 16°C
Maturing: 6 MONTHS IN STEEL VATS WITH NATURAL YEASTS AND NO DECANTING, LOW TEMPERATURES WITH “BATONNADE”
