Description

Here is an exciting and unique white wine made from red grapes – 100% Barbera! Yes you read that correctly!  This wine certainly is enigmatic, unexpected and very elegant.

The innovative approach of the winery to make a white wine from red grapes has resulted in a fresh wine but above all complex. It has all the structure you would expect from a red grape, texture, tannin with a balanced acidity and an exceptionally aromatic bouquet with an intense finish.

Soft pale yellow in colour, there are initial delicate but intense floral aromas. On the palate, it is balanced and enveloping with a spicy hint.  There are ripe apple flavours, with citrus notes. There is no residual sugar at all in this wine, so it is as dry as possible, although it doesn’t seem bone dry as the juicy fruit really comes through.

Pair with fresh cheese, sea food and in general all types of dishes based on fish.
