An intense ruby color, with aromas of cherries, cranberries and the scent of violets with well integrated oak. Round on the palate, juicy with a fruity aftertaste, slightly earthy and rustic, but with a smooth finish.
A Sangiovese blend with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which increases the wine’s complexity, intensity and strength. Additionally, the wine is matured for 4 months in large oak barrels and another 4 months in the bottle before it goes on sale.
Food Pairing: Antipasti board, cured meats such as spianata salami, pasta with tomatoes, chicken, meat, beef and venison.
Chianti Trambusti was born in 1934, thanks to the founder Orlando Trambusti, an expert and wine lover who decided to transform his natural vocation into work.
Orlando died in 1982. It is then that his son Giovanni took over the reins of Chianti Trambusti, continuing to follow the directions of his enterprising father, selecting the best wines of Tuscany.
Giovanni’s work was supported in the 90s by the entry into the company of his three children, Giacomo, Veronica and Francesco. Thanks also to their contribution, today the winery is equipped with modern and functional equipment , yet always maintaining the respect for traditions and the territory.
