Victor Bérard Gicondas AOC 2019

12 in stock

Gicondas is a wine Appellation in the Southern Rhône valley, known as the prestigious little brother of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The village of Gigondas backs onto one of the most beautiful natural sites in the valley: the Dentelles de Montmirail massif. This territory was mostly used for planting, olive groves until they realized, the wine potential of the land. Gigondas are often full-bodied, very structured, solid and long-aging wines. They do not produce any white wine in the appellation and very few rosés.

The vinification of Victor Bérard – Gigondas is traditional with a long vatting period and aging in wooden casks.

Intense purple in colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, kirsch, prune and spices.  It’s in heavy Leahy leaded bottles which are numbered.

Enjoy a glass of Victor Bérard – Gigondas with game, beef or veal.
