Description

A really exquisite single vineyard Chardonnay from the Côtes de Gascogne region of South West France. The partial aging in barrels gives both power and finesse, adding complexity to this Chardonnay which expresses the fruit and imbues a beautiful golden yellow colour.  The nose is subtle, of floral character, with notes of fresh butter, sweet melon, pineapple, citrus, apple, roasted vanilla, almonds.. Fresh, juicy mouthfeel yet light, delicate, fine-grained, delicately fruity, rich, round, elegant and durable.

Côtes de Gascogne is a wine-growing district in Gascony producing principally white wine and known for the high quality of its white wines. Incredible value for a truly beautiful Chardonnay. Buttery, creamy and just a very light hint of well integrated oak. So fresh, lush and juicy. Melon is the dominant fruit note. A real stunner!
